"Pirate Girl" sounds really rad!

I wish we had libraries that lent out tons of books in Buenos Aires like you do in the States. That's one of the things I miss the most about living up there. Someone told me that the reason we don't do that here is that too many people don't return the books. Wow, huh?

I don't have friends that young. Maybe when my local friends start having kids. Recently, though, I met a 10-year-old girl, Mica, who, along with her mom, adopted a stray dog I picked up and took care of until we found him a loving family. Mica is great. She even emailed me pictures of her family and its newest member, Charly the puppy.

This was a lovely post. Thanks for making me smile!
